Privacy Policy

Yooper Properties collects information submitted through investor inquiries, rental inquiries, owner software and administrative support inquiries, seller forms, contractor applications, tenant requests, and related contact forms.

We use this information to respond to inquiries, coordinate investor follow-up, operate rental and owner software and administrative support workflows, coordinate maintenance and contractor work, improve website performance, and maintain internal CRM and operational records.

Information you provide

Depending on the form, submissions may include contact information, state of residence or entity formation, investment-level preferences, individual or entity status, investment questions, property or unit details, inquiry preferences, referral details, maintenance descriptions, and uploaded photos. Do not include passwords, financial account numbers, or unrelated sensitive information in public inquiry forms.

Website services and analytics

The website uses Vercel for hosting and performance measurement, and Supabase for database, account, and file-storage services. Public-site analytics record general page and engagement information, device categories, coarse location, and limited referral-source categories. Custom analytics use randomly generated browser identifiers stored in local storage; campaign attribution used for inquiry routing is kept in session storage. Authenticated tools use session cookies to maintain sign-in.

Analytics filters exclude form contents, contact details, query strings, private request links, and uploaded-file URLs. Private maintenance requests are excluded from page analytics. Operational records submitted through forms remain separate from analytics and are used by the team handling the request.

Financial data and Plaid

When an authorized administrator connects a financial account, we use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to obtain account information. Plaid may collect financial-institution login or authentication information directly through Plaid Link under Plaid's privacy policy. Yooper Properties does not receive or store online-banking usernames or passwords.

Depending on the accounts and permissions selected, we may receive institution and account identifiers, account name and type, masked account number, balances, transaction dates, amounts, descriptions, merchant or counterparty details, and connection status. We use this information only to operate property-management accounting, reconcile deposits and expenses, match rent payments, investigate errors, and maintain security and audit records.

We disclose financial data to Plaid, our database and hosting providers, and authorized service providers only as needed to provide and secure these functions, comply with law, or protect our rights. We do not sell financial data or use it for advertising.

Plaid access tokens are stored server-side in encrypted form. Access to connected-account data is restricted to authorized administrators using role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication. Sandbox test data and Production financial data are separated by enforced environment labels.

We retain connected-account data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above and applicable accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, and security requirements. An authorized administrator may disconnect an account, and consumers may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact page. Deletion requests may be limited where retention is required by law or needed to complete transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce agreements.

Requests and access

Internal notes, tenant information, owner reports, contracts, signatures, billing setup details, and operational records are intended for authorized users only. Keep account credentials and private request links confidential.

To request a correction or removal of submitted contact information, contact Yooper Properties through the contact page. Some records may need to be retained for operational, accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
